CLS Teams Gather in Brest, with New Director David Bajouco
Our teams specializing in maritime safety were in Brest last week.
Our teams from Toulouse, accompanied by our new Director of Maritime Safety, David Bajouco, met for a day of exchanges at our Brest site, the other French space region.
It was a good opportunity to point out that our Vigisat station in Brittany is a unique infrastructure in France for the acquisition and processing of satellite images which help regarding themes like:
- Pollution detection
- Combating illegal fishing
- Support for green energies (high-resolution wind measurement for the offshore wind industry)
- Iceberg detection for the safety of sailors in major ocean races
- Performance control centre for the European Sentinel-1 mission for the European Copernicus ECMWF programme.
Our maritime safety team has a wide range of applications.
A great day of exchanges perfectly illustrating the synergy and complementarity of the teams who work every day for peaceful oceans.
Our committed employees support the sector’s institutional and industrial players in their daily challenges.
